It is the town's Baroque church, featured by Visit Mureș and the local tourist office, and the Reformed church designed by Alpár Ignác is 100 metres away.
About the place
The Roman Catholic parish was re-established in 1736, but the church was only completed in 1781, when the globe and cross were fixed on the tower on 12 June. Until then Reghin's Catholics attended the court church of the baron of Apalina. The building is typical late Baroque from Maria Theresa's time.
The old windows were replaced with 12 stained-glass windows showing kings, saints and other figures from Hungarian history. On the same street, at no. 51, stands the Reformed church of 1890, designed by architect Alpár Ignác, with a coffered ceiling painted by Molnár Dénes.
